It's covered in snow, salt, slush, ice, and all other forms of winter car torture. The temperature outside won't get anywhere near freezing in the near future, so washing it would be a pain and pointless since all the roads will be wet again once everything melts. And, to add insult to injury, a flock of birds crapped on the back door and all down the side window. At least the coating of salt will protect the paint from the bird crap.
Oh, and I've been cruising around with my tires overinflated. I don't know how it happened, but three of them were all close to 40 PSI and I checked them all right around Thanksgiving to make sure they were at the right cold pressure. Then, the right rear was at about 29. The TPMS was all mad about it yesterday and beeping at me. No leaks, so I guess the only thing to blame is the below zero temps and the fact that the car had been driven about 7 miles when I chdcked them yesterday. But, I did re-check them this morning (after the car sat all night) and got them all to 32 PSI, which is the correct cold pressure the door jamb sticker states.
At least it photographs well.
I can't wait for that first spring wash, clay-bar, and wax. Due for spark plugs this spring as well.

Since winter lasts 6 months where I live, I still rinse my car every few weeks in the winter. Cleanliness is next to godliness my friend. We have only had the odd day time high above 0F this month so far.

Its a never ending battle. I try to gauge the week ahead and wait for the roads to dry out before ever thinking of washing.
I might get a chance to wash mine tomorrow if it ever makes it above the teens... but I know all the washes will be lined up with cars.

For some reason, it always comes out looking cleaner than it is. I guess it is the phone, or the red paint. Either way, it really is filthy.

I want to wash my car so bad!!!! It makes me sad not seeing it detailed. I was hand washing my car almost every 2 weeks.

although it looks totally clean here, I'll believe you that it is dirty. Definitely worth washing it! Even if it is just like once a month or something in the winter. I found a self wash place and with the high pressure hoses, it is not a pain at all. Now in the summer I would wash my car at least weekly so waiting a few weeks is painful but you gotta do what you gotta do!

I wash the Jeep ~ once a week and it only takes a couple days to look like this due to commuting in the Northeast.
